M/Y ALMEA 


Captain: Simos Plessas,

 

Captain Simos has a sea service of 22 years. After graduating from the  Naval Academy he first worked on cargo ships and as Master on small ferries  ships, performing the itineraries to the islands of Paros, Santorini, for 4 years. For the last 1 and half year he has been working as captain on ALMEA,. Captain Simos has graduated from the Naval Academy of Aspropirgos.  He was born in Naxos; he is 50 years old, is fluent in English and has a fair knowledge of Italian.

 

Chief Engineer: Katapodis Anastasios.

 

He is 53 years old and was born in Piraeus. After graduating from the high school for engineers, he started working in Merchant Marine, and then the following years in proffesional yachting. He has been employed on AlMEA for the last 13 years. He has a total of 19 years sea experience.  He is married with three children, and passionate with all seawater activities and particularly likes fishing. He has a good knowledge of the English language.

 

Deckhand: Constantinos Gasparis.

 

Constantinos was born in Tinos.

He has  a sea service of many years. He has actually been employed on ships since the age of 16 years.  He is now 31 years old, and is being employed on ALMEA for the last one year. He used to work as a captain on small yachts of 15 meters overall length.  His valuable sea experience consist him the perfect crew member.  He very much enjoys fishing and reading. He is fluent in English.

 

Steward:  Christos Peppas.

 

He is 38 years old and was born in Argos, in a small village called Nea Kios.  Christos is being employed on ALMEA for the last year. Previous to that he was on ALTHEA  for two years.  He is an excellent fisherman. Every time he dives he comes on to the surface full with fish.   Christos  has been working on private as well as charter yachts for the past 10 years He is very active in sports and adores fishing.

 

Chef: Kiriakos Skamalos.

 

Kiriakos was born in Athens. He is 41 years old. Although he has just been appointed on ALMEA. He started his career as a cook in yachts where he has worked for 20 years.   He has excellent knowledge of Greek and international cuisine ( French, Italian, English).  He is very creative and always strives to satisfy his guests in every possible way. He has very good knowledge of English. He enjoys fishing very much.
