CAPTAIN: Andreas Dragatsis

Captain Andreas was born on the island of Naxos in 1964. After graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy he worked for 3 years on merchant ships around the world, and then for 7 years as Master on luxurious charter yachts such as the 37m M/Y "SIRIUS". He has been working with us as Master of M/Y "CARMEN SERENA" since 1998. He has excellent knowledge of the Ionian and the Aegean sea as well as the Turkish coast. Cruising with exquisite clientele for the past 9 years Captain Andreas has gained valuable knowledge and experience in serving every need of our guests. He is fluent in English, and has good knowledge of Spanish.

CHIEF ENGINEER: Georgios Panou

He is 51 years old and was born on the island of Poros. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy as Chief engineer. He has been working on ocean going vessels for the past 27 years and for the last 6 years with Costamare, our mother company, on our container ships. As of last year he joined us on M/Y "CARMEN SERENA" bringing with him his valuable experience. He is very athletic and is passionate with all seawater activities, especially swimming and fishing. He is fluent in English.

BOSUN: Vagelis Antikas

He is 61 years old and was born in Porto Heli in the Peloponnese. For the past 23 years he has been working on both private and charter yachts. Over these years he has gained valuable knowledge in cruising the Greek islands. He is a born seaman and an expert fisherman. He has a license to drive motor boats and has basic knowledge of English.

CHEF: Demetrios Mpitsakis

He is 41 years old and was born on the island of Limnos. He studied in the Hotel school of Parnitha, with a concentration in the cooking division. After graduating he worked for two years on an ocean going vessel and for 8 years as first cook in the 5 star Divani Caravel and Divani Palace hotels. He joined M/Y "CARMEN SERENA" three years ago bringing with him his creativity and sense of perfection. He will do everything in his power to satisfy our guests. He has great knowledge of Greek and International cuisine and he has good knowledge of English.

STEWARD: DEMETRIOS MODINOS

He was born in Athens. He has worked in several first class restaurants for the past 4 years and joined us as of last year on M/Y "CARMEN SERENA". Demetris will do everything in his power to keep the guests happy all the time. He is a big sports fun and particularly likes swimming. He is 27 years old and has very good knowledge of English.

ASSISTANT STEWARD: Maria Mpaltzaki

She was born in Piraeus. For the past four years she has been working as stewardess on motor yachts, such as "ELENI" and "NEFELI". Maria joined us last year on M/Y "CARMEN SERENA", bringing with her among other her sense of perfection. She is passionate with all seawater activities and has good knowledge of English.
