CAPTAIN GEORGE is in his forties, comes from a captain's family. Since childhood he started sailing with his father in a traditional schooner. He is a very experienced Captain holding the highest degree license and has been First Captain in overseas cruising vessels. His love for sailing led him to abandon the bigger ships to captain sailing yachts. It enables him to enjoy and feel much closer to nature and the sea.

He speaks and writes English, French, as well as some Italian, Spanish and German.

His hobbies are: listening to music, reading good books, table games, and he loves anything that has to do with the sea. He has a lot of experience in water sports, such as sailing, water skiing and wind surfing, and is therefore willing to give instruction when desired.

Captain George has been in the yachting business for more than 25 years and has supervised the whole construction of SUMMER SAMBA for over three years. He has been sailing the Greek seas since 1975, and you will be able to draw on his local knowledge to enjoy the most attractive anchorage and ports to make your holiday unforgettable.

He loves his job, very much. Respecting the fact that people choose Greece and Summer Samba for their vacation, he strives to make their holiday dream come true.

On SUMMER SAMBA you will be in the capable hands of a very experienced crew (cook, hostess and seaman), hand picked and trained by Captain George in the highest standards of first class service.

The crew speaks English and Greek. They are all delightful warm persons and obviously enjoy their work immensely.
